If you selected the “Generate FM” option (<f3>), the following message is
displayed:
“You now have the option of limiting CUE frequencies to under
75.950 MHz.
This will give you a frequency range of 30.000 to
75.950 MHz in 50 kHz increments and will allow a radio such as the
VRC-12 to communicate with SINCGARS radio. If you choose NOT to
limit CUE frequencies, you will be given the choice of using
either 25 or 50 kHz increments over the entire range of VHF-FM
frequencies.
Do you wish to limit CUE frequencies to under 75.950 MHz (Y/N)?”
Answer the question by typing “Y” and generation begins.
Answer the question by typing “N” and the screen shown in Figure 2-52 is
displayed.
