When transferring Non-ICOM SINCGARS data to aMX-18290, the TRANSEC Keys are
loaded using the Non-ICOM transfer options. The common lockout(s) and net
lockout(s) are loaded using the ICOM transfer options.
To transfer Non-ICOM fill data to a MX-18290, select option <f2>, Transfer to
Non-ICOM device, from the screen shown in Figure 2-92 (Transfer Menu). Select
this option and the Select TRANSEC Key screen is displayed as shown in Figure
2-93.
Enter the TRANSEC Key number, press <RETURN> and the Non-ICOM Transfer Options
screen shown in Figure 2-90 is displayed. Use the help screen for function key
descriptions.
1. OPERATIONAL TRANSEC
Use option <f3> to transfer the operational TRANSEC Key.
Select this option and the following message is displayed:
Press REQUEST on fill device to begin transfer of TRANSEC Key l.
Set the ECCM fill device to the desired position (T1) and press the
REQUEST button on the ECCM fill device.
Watch for the green LED on the ECCM fill device to flash indicating a
successful fill.
The flash should occur after a count of two.

SPARE TRANSEC
Use option <f4> to transfer the spare TRANSEC Key.
Select this option and the following message is displayed:
Press REQUEST on fill device to begin transfer of TRANSEC Key 2".
Set the ECCM fill device to the desired position (T2) and press the
REQUEST button on the ECCM fill device.
Watch for the green LED on the ECCM fill device to flash indicating a
successful fill.
The flash should occur after a count of two.

COMMON LOCKOUT SETS
After loading the TRANSEC Keys (operational and spare), press <f8> two
times to return to the Transfer Menu shown in Figure 2-92.
Next, select option <f1> and the Select TRANSEC Key screen is displayed
as shown in Figure 2-93.
Select the same TRANSEC Key number that was selected before when
transferring the TRANSEC Keys in 1. Operational Transec and 2. Spare
Transec in previous paragraph.
Press <RETURN> and the ICOM Transfer
Options screen shown in Figure 2-94 is displayed. Use the help screen
for a description of the function keys.
