TM 11-5895-1412-12&P
Arrow keys can be used to move between lines within columns. Some columns use
the function keys to make selections; therefore, the function key selections
may change depending on which column the cursor is in.
DESC ID is the first column of the matrix.
The numbers increase in sequential
order as you proceed down the list.
This number is used as the reference
number for each of the nets when entering Net Groups (see Net Groups, page 2-
33), Cosite Groups (see Cosite Plan, page 2-38), Call Sign Sharing Plan (see
Sharing Plan For Call Signs, page 2-41), Frequency Sharing Plan (see Sharing
Plan For Frequencies, page 2-44) and Special Nets (see Special Nets Plan, page
2-46) .
This column is fixed and cannot be edited by you. If you do not want to use a
DESC ID, the row should be left blank such as rows ten (10) and eleven (11) in
Figure 2-11.
It is recommended that 2 blank lines be inserted approximately
every 20 nets or between commands.
This is done because an insert line
capability does not exist.
Enter into the DESCRIPTION column the descriptors for the nets to be included
into the completed SOI.
Up to 1500 net names (1-1200 = DIV, 1201-1500 =
CORPS), each up to 16 characters long may be entered. The following
characters may be used as part of the net names:
letters A - Z, digits O - 9,
&, (, ), - and/.
