TM 11-5895-1412-12&PAPPENDIX JICOM SINCGARS RADIO: HOPSET(S) LOADING PROCEDURESPROCEDURE SUMMARY:The following summarizes the frequency hopping operating procedures for anICOM radio.The radio controls are shown in Figure J-1.Figure J-11.Using BECS or SINISS, load the ECCM fill device (MX-18290) with thecommon lockout(s), at least one net lockout set, and at least oneTRANSEC Key (Pages 2-104 through 2-107).2.Turn on the power supply to the radio.3.Set the FH Sync Time for the radio.Turn the function switch (FCTN) tothe LOAD (LD) position.The MODE switch can be in either the singlechannel (SC) position or the frequency hopping (FH) position.Press thebutton on the front panel keyboard.Press the clear (<CLR>)button and two lines appear on the LED display. Use the numeric keys toenter the two-digit day and then press the store (<STO>) button. Toenter the time, press two times.Press <CLR> and four linesappear on the LED display.Enter the hour and minute. Press <STO> atthe exact time (resets seconds to zero).4.Load the common lockouts into the radio (if no lockouts exist, go tostep 5).Turn the FCTN switch to LD, the MODE switch on FH and makesure CHAN is set on MAN.Turn the FILL DATA SELECTOR SWITCH on the fillJ-1
