HOPSET LOADING (LOCAL FILL)
a. Make sure rt CHAN is not set to CUE.
b. Set ECCM fill device function switch to OFF; then connect fill cable to rt
connector AUD/FILL and to fill device connector J1.

d. Set ECCM fill device select switch to desired hopset position.

Set ECCM fill device function to ON.
f. Press rt
After the beep press <Sto/ENT> and <CHANNEL/NUMBER/
(1-6)>.
g.
To load more hopsets, reset fill device select switch and repeat rt
keyboard steps.
After all required hopsets, lockout sets and TRANSEC
variables are loaded, turn off and disconnect fill device.
FH SYNC TIME [CHECKING AND SETTING]
The FH sync time clock in your rt is used to time FH operations. This clock
stops running when FCTN has been set to OFF for more than 24 hours (if your rt
has had the FCTN set to OFF for more than 24 hours, reset all FH sync time
functions).
The clock immediately stops running when FCTN is set to STW or Z-

CHECKING FH SYNC TIME
Set FCTN to SQ ON.
Press
three times.
Each press gives you a different display.
The first press displays the days (last two digits of Julian date). The
second press displays hours and minutes.
The third press displays minutes
and seconds.
SETTING FH SYNC TIME
If rt FCTN is set to Z-A, all time functions must be set manually or by ERF
from NCS.
To manually set all functions (days, hours, minutes), do the
following steps:
o Obtain nets time standard.
