FH UPDATE USING ERF
This procedure is used to update hopsets and lockout sets. It is also used to
add new sets.
During an update, the net communicates on the FH channel it had
been using.

The channel used for updating does not change until the updating
is complete.

Acknowledge reception and storage of ERF.

On command, set CHAN to where hopset was stored (step d); then confi
communication with NCS.
f. Set <FCTN> to normal operating position.

Two methods are used to join a net that is already operating. The FH data in
your rt determines which method to use.
METHOD 1: RT LATE ENTRY.
Using part 1 of this procedure is useful after net
radios have been shut down (FCTN set to OFF) for less than 24 hours.
Do part
2 only if traffic is heard during part 1.
