No lubrication is required during organizational maintenance.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Introduction:
BGU Troubleshooting is performed using the appropriate tools and test
equipment listed in the maintenance allocation chart for the Computer, Printer
and Disc Drive.
Upon completion of BGU troubleshooting the faulty unit is
removed, if applicable, in accordance with maintenance instructions.
The
replacement unit is then installed.
Upon installing a replacement unit the
BGU performance test will be run to verify proper operation.
Perform the troubleshooting procedures in Operators Maintenance
If the problem can not be resolved by instructions given there or by repl
parts authorized in the following repair parts list refer the problem to
higher level of maintenance.
DO THIS OPERATION TO THE COUPUTER ONLY AS A LAST RESORT.
PRESS AND HOLD DOWN THE CONTRAST KEY (THE KEY WITH THE CIRCLE ON IT LOCAT
THE LOWER RIGHT SIDE OF THE KEYBOARD).

The computer
will be reset and the internal memory will be erased.

MATERIALS
No materials are required for unit maintenance for the BGU.
REPAIR PARTS
The repair parts list for use in performing unit maintenance is contained in
Appendix F.
