WARNING
Before cleaning the case, disconnect the charger and HP-IL
cables.
Make sure that any disc is removed from the drive.
The following procedures describe cleaning of BECS components. Refer to
figure 3-1 on the following page for component identification.
CAUTION
Never turn the Disc drive off or remove the disc from the drive when the
disc access light is on.
Doing so can cause loss of data.
CAUTION
Chemical spray-on cleaners used for appliances and other household and
Industrial applications may damage the case finish. Do not use detergents
that contain ammonia, benzenes, chlorides, or abrasives.

For computer (1) Disc Drive (4) and Printer (8) verify power is off.

Remove all dirt, dust, grease or other debris from computer (1),
Disc Drive (4), Printer (8), Cable (2), Cable (13), with a soft
dampened cloth.
Dont use an excessively wet cloth or allow water
to get inside the computer.
Dont use abrasive cleaners, especially
on the display.

When checking the Disc (6) for damage do not touch the surface of
the disc
