CONFIGURATION MENU
Execute the following steps to select the configuration item values.

To enter the configuration menu, press and hold (about 5 seconds) <MENU>
and the symbol set is displayed.
Press <+> or <-> to select “Roman-8” as the symbol set.
Press <ENTER/RESET MENU> to save your selection (an * appears in the
display.
Press <MENU> and

Press <+> or <-> to select “9600” as the baud rate.
Press <ENTER/RESET MENU> to save your selection (an * appears in the
display.
Press <MENU> and ROBUST XON is displayed.
Press <+> or <-> to select “ON” for ROBUST XON.
Press <ENTER/RESET MENU> to save your selection (an * appears in the
display.
Press <MENU> and DTR POLARITY is displayed.
Press <+> or <-> to select “HI” for DTR POLARITY.
Press <ENTER/RESET MENU> to save your selection (an * appears in the
display.
Press <MENU> and “00 READY” is displayed.
Hold down <CONTINUE/RESET> until “07 RESET” is displayed. The printer
automatically returns on-line.
