Condition Description
W A R N I N G
Diesel fuel is flammable. Do
not perform this procedure
near fire, flame, or sparks.
Injury or death to personnel
could result.
Fuel and oil are slippery and
c a n c a u s e f a l l s . T o a v o i d
injury, wipe up spilled fuel or
oil with rags.

Removed
NOTE
Have container available to catch
any fuel in fuel lines.
LOOSEN two ADAPTERS (1) and REMOVE fuel
pressure SWITCH (2).
I N S T A L L A T I ON
INSTALL fuel pressure SWITCH (2) and TIGHTEN
two ADAPTERS (1).
NOTE
Follow-on Maintenance:
Open fuel shutoff valve (TM 5-
2420-224-10).
Install outside engine hood (page
4-388).
