TABLE G-3
TABLE G-4
TM 11-5895-1412-12&P
Nets are entered using the nets DESC ID number. The first column is used for
base nets.
The remaining spaces on the same line are used for the nets to be
separated from the base net.
The nets entered for separation have their
assigned frequencies separated from the base net by the separation factor.
This separation does not cause a separation between the nets listed to the
right of the base net.
To create further separation among the nets listed,
use each separated net as a base net for the remaining nets.
For example, in
Table G-3, nets 2, 3 and 4 are separated from net 1 by the given separation
factor (line one).
In line two, nets 3 and 4 are separated from net 2 by the
same separation factor.
In line three, net 4 is separated from net 3 by the
same separation factor.
Not all cosite groups have to be triangular in shape.
It is valid for the group shown in Table G-3 to have only the first row, but
net 2 would not be separated from 3 and 4 and net 3 would not be separated
from 4.
G-9 PRACTICAL EXAMPLES
The cosite plan is an essential worksheet for the BECS spectrum manager. To
develop the cosite worksheet, you need the Master Net List created earlier and
a blank cosite table worksheet.
Section V SPECIAL NETS PLAN
Special nets plan is
a modified cosite group and is normally applicable to
all RTS and AJ/ALT nets.
A special nets plan allows you to specify a
cosite separation between pairs of nets which is greater or different than
what can be accomplished via cosite planning.
Up to 50 net pairs can be entered into the special nets plan. (There is only
one plan.) The nets are entered into a table as shown in Table G-4.
Enter the base net and enter the related net to right of base net using DESC
IDs.
Enter a separation factor from 1-15 MHz which is evenly dividable by O.5
MHz .
There is no guarantee that the separation entered will be assigned.
Each special net pair can have a different separation. After generation, you
can check the exception report to see which pairs of nets, if any, could not
