Answering the two above questions this way
will generate Division data without changing the merged Corps data.
Print the extracts needed at the Division level.
Save the new Division data base (with merged data) to the disk labeled
Division Database Backup (Disk B). The diskette label should be
changed to contain a title similar to the following:
CORPS/DIVISION MERGED DATA BASE
the label should contain the following information:
Hopset filename (if any)
TRANSEC Key Pair name (i.e. TSK#l)
Level at which the hopset was generated
Date generated or effective date
To review the contents of disks A, B and C:
Database Disk A contains the Master Division Database.
Merge Database Disk B contains Division data with the merged Corps
Merge Disk C contains the data which was merged from the Corps.
Corps generates for use throughout the Corps:
item number identifiers
- TRANSEC Key Pairs & possibly hopsets
Divisions/Separate Brigades do not generate these.
